Cate Cronin
With the head and heart of a sailor, Cate Cronin brings organizations together and helps them achieve their goals with clarity and a strong sense of purpose. With enthusiasm and a great love to help organizations "do whatever they do better," Cate listens first and assesses situations with a keen eye for detail.
Using her 25 years of experience in fundraising, organizational management and administration, Cate believes understanding an organization and its goals is key to being able to provide the kind of counsel she has provided to institutions like the Harvard Graduate School of Education; the National Maritime Museum and Greenpeace.
Cronin enjoys the challenge of getting people in the right roles and describes her work as bringing an Outward Bound sensibility to organizations without "taking them to the wilderness."
As a United States Coast Guard licensed captain, she served as the Captain of the 110-foot replica Sloop Clearwater and developed a nationally recognized, and much emulated, environmental education program.
Cate Cronin received a Masters of Education from Harvard and served as the Executive Director of the Atlantic Challenge Foundation and the Maine Island Trail Association.
"I love helping organizations transform and prepare for new directions. It's exciting to see what a group of people can do once they learn how to come together and do it."
